State of VC 2022

For over a decade LAVA has hosted an annual State of VC event, typically consisting of a panel of VCs.  This year, in order to provide you with a more objective opinion we are shaking things up with a two part program headlined by Pitchbook and two panels of LP's.  Part 1 includes a presentation by Kyle Stanford, Senior Analyst:Venture at Pitchbook, followed by a diverse panel of family offices active in LA.

Jonathan Hung - Partner at Trousdale Ventures & Co-Managing Partner of Unicorn Venture Partners & J Heart Ventures family office investor fund.  Jonathan is a prolific local family office investor who is an LP in 30 LA based funds.  

Clare McLaughlin - TLI Bedrock, Principal - Head of Venture Capital and Private Investments. Clare McLaughlin has been an investor with TLI Bedrock for four years, specializing in early stage companies in sectors spanning software, food and agriculture, sports and Web3. Additionally, Clare runs the fund of funds, cryptocurrency and alternatives strategies. She also serves as Chief Investment Officer for the Charitarian Foundation. Clare is currently serving on the boards of The Gaming Society and Stopwatch.

Vosa Ayisire  - Director at Palm Drive Associates, LLC, a Los Angeles based Single Family Office. Vosa is actively involved in developing and executing operational and investment strategies at the Family Office.
