PANELIST PROFILES

Sanjiv Lal

Sanjiv Lal is the CEO and Co-Founder of RegenTherapy and Regen Quantum, regenerative biotechnology companies focused on advancing acellular biologics, regenerative signaling, and next-generation longevity therapeutics. He also serves as Co-Founder and Partner of Motivant, a family office and private investment platform that builds, acquires, and scales companies across healthcare, biotechnology, life sciences, diagnostics, and consumer health.


Over the past two decades, Sanjiv has founded, invested in, acquired, and operated multiple healthcare and biotechnology businesses, successfully leading organizations from early-stage development through commercialization and strategic exits. His experience spans pharmaceutical sciences, laboratory operations, regenerative medicine, precision diagnostics, clinical services, and healthcare infrastructure.


As both an operator and allocator of capital, Sanjiv has evaluated and deployed investments across private companies with a focus on technologies capable of transforming human health and longevity. His investment philosophy centers on identifying scalable platforms at the intersection of biology, engineering, and commercialization, while partnering closely with founders to accelerate growth and create long-term enterprise value.


A first-generation American, Sanjiv earned both his Bachelor of Science and Master of
Science degrees in Pharmaceutical Sciences from The Ohio State University. He is recognized for bridging scientific innovation with disciplined business execution and has become a respected voice in regenerative medicine, longevity biotechnology, and healthcare entrepreneurship.


Today, Sanjiv is leading the development of one of the industry's most ambitious regenerative signaling platforms, with the goal of making advanced regenerative therapies more scalable, accessible, and impactful worldwide.

 

 

Dan King

Dan King is a Managing Director at Emerson Family Office and Managing Broker-Dealer for a niche tax equity solution designed for high income earners, with 15 years of experience in wealth advisory, tax planning, and private markets. He partners with Goldman Sachs to provide private wealth clients access to institutional banking, lending, and managed portfolios, while actively investing in venture opportunities alongside his clients, bringing curated deal flow in tax equity, secondary markets, and private companies to the families and individuals he serves.

 

Jennifer Byrne

Jennifer Byrne is a General Partner at Grit Capital Partners, where she invests in media and fintech companies. Over the past two decades, she has built and scaled businesses as an operator, investor, and advisor across financial services, technology, and media.

Prior to Grit Capital, Jenn co-founded Quesnay, an innovation advisory firm that partnered with Fortune 50 companies and launched the world's first accelerator dedicated to women-led fintech startups, helping founders raise more than $2 billion in capital. Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles at American Express and Verizon, leading strategic partnerships, innovation initiatives, and growth across emerging technologies.

Beyond her work as a venture investor, Jenn is the co-founder of The Female Investors Club, a community that brings together women across venture capital, family offices, angel investing, and institutional capital. Through that network and her own investing experience, she has developed a unique perspective on how different investors evaluate opportunities, build relationships, and make decisions across the table. Jenn is based in Santa Monica and New York.
