The SEC recently adopted new rules that will fundamentally change the manner in which private fund advisers operate and can do business with investors (this includes, advisers and fund mangers of VC, PE, and hedge funds)
We (LAVA) are hosting a web meeting THIS MONDAY (25th) 11am with the trade association AIC, who is part of a coalition of parties that filed a lawsuit against the SEC arguing that the new rules are unlawful, along with lawyers from the international law firm Debevoise to provide a presentation summarizing the new requirements, and the major issues with the new rules that you should all be aware of. Additionally, they will answer any questions you have about how you will be affected.
