Allen Lenard
I am the founder and CEO of ød Holdings, Inc., Beverly Hills, California. I have been an attorney and consultant in the music and technology industries for essentially my entire professional career. Before entering private practice, I was Vice President and General Counsel for MCA Records and Music Publishing.
In my private law practice, I counseled and advised clients in all aspects of the music industry. I have also structured, facilitated, and negotiated major entertainment joint ventures and the sale of significant entertainment companies. I have represented venture capital funds in forming and funding companies at the intersection of media and technology.
I received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an accounting major from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and a Juris Doctor degree from the UCLA School of Law, where I was a member of the UCLA Law Review.
I was actively involved in numerous activist and philanthropic endeavors such as: While in law school, I founded the UCLA Draft Counseling Center, which ultimately morphed into the law school’s Prisoner Rights Counseling Center; President of the Board of Trustees, Center for Early Education; Founding member and President of the Board of Directors of the Bogart Pediatric Cancer Research Program that raises funds to support early-stage pediatric cancer and leukemia research at the Bogart laboratories located at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles; Board of Trustees of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles; Initiated the So. California fundraising effort for and was a member of the Board of Visitors of the George L. Mosse & Laurence A. Weinstein Center for Jewish Studies at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
